Meaning, and elegance.

Founded in August 2012, A PIECE OF CHIC was born from the desire to perpetuate a local Lyonnais know-how: the printing and making of silk scarves. Lyon has been the capital of weaving and silk printing since the Renaissance. 

Although our scarves are unisex, our primary aim was to bring the silk scarf back to men, with that elegance and touch of chic so characteristic of the early days of dandyism at the turn of the twentieth century. A time when explorers, aviation pioneers, the first racing drivers and motorcyclists accomplished their feats always wearing that silk scarf — so elegant, so precious and so practical.      

Since then, other accessories of masculine finery have enriched our collection, always with the intent of showcasing our national artisanal and industrial heritage above all else. Because for us, elegance does not depend solely on the choice of colours and materials, but also and above all on a certain way of being and doing...
